Even though the weather just started to warm up, the Arlington Parks Department is already prepared with their first outdoor event of the season. Arlington Palooza is Sunday, April 14 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Alcova Heights Park, and it promises a great time for people of all ages.
This free festival combines live entertainment, food trucks, and plenty of family-friendly activities. Bring the kids for crafts, lawn games, and face painting, plus a cool new way to play laser throughout the festival. There will also be live entertainment from The Sunshine Gang, a lively rock band, to The Sultanas Troupe, who offer unique fusion dance. When you’re ready to fuel up, enjoy lunch from The Big Cheese and El Encanto Latino, and sweet treats from Little Miss Whoopie and Salou’s Softy Ice Cream food trucks. No tickets or reservations are needed for this event — just show up hungry and ready to create, play, and enjoy the beauty of Arlington Parks.
